Digestive problems in cats can take many forms. Three common feline digestive related ailments include diarrhea, constipation and colitis.
Symptoms of diarrhea include the affected cat straining at the litter box with the resultant cat’s feces soft or even watery and the feces color lighter or darker than normal.
Fresh blood or mucus can also be in the feces. Signs of constipation include a cat´s increased time in the litter box and small amounts of dry hard feces in the litter box.
