Cat > Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV)
Information
The Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) is a retrovirus that weakens a cat's immune system. It is the cause of more cat deaths, directly or indirectly, than any other organism and is widespread in the cat population.
Symptoms of Feline Leukemia Virus include general malaise, fever, diarrhea, weight loss, a progressive weakness, swollen lymph nodes, breathing difficulty, anemia, lack of pink or red color in the gums, blood in the stool and chronic, re-ocurring infections.
