Kidney Disease is a common disease in cats especially as they age. Animals with Feline Kidney Disease can also have other problems that need to be treated if the Kidney Problem is to be treated successfully.

    These secondary diseases include hyperthyroidism, heart disease, dental disease, diabetes, and hypertension.   

   Chronic Renal Failure is prevalent in older cats and the natural progression of Feline Kidney Disease.

   Symptoms include excess urinating and drinking, weight loss, poor appetite, and weakness accompanied by vomiting.
