Cat > Liver Problems
Information
The signs of a diseased liver may not appear until a large portion of the liver is already affected.
Symptoms include decreased appetite, weight loss and lethargy accompanied by a fever.
Some cats may appear pot bellied because of an increase in the size of the liver itself, or because there is a build-up of fluid in the abdomen.
Jaundice and vomiting can occur in the advanced stages of liver disease.
